Terms of service

Last updated 4 November 2026

Services to attorneys only

Blonde Briefed Paralegal provides paralegal services to licensed attorneys and law firms. By engaging these services you confirm that you are an attorney or an authorized representative of a law firm, and that all work will be supervised, reviewed, and used by a licensed attorney.

No legal advice or representation

This business is not a law firm. Nothing provided constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed with any person other than your own clients. Work product is prepared for your review and is not filed, served, or delivered to any third party without your instruction.

Scope, fees, and scheduling

Each engagement is governed by a written scope that states the deliverables, the turnaround, and the fee. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins. Availability is confirmed in writing; submitting a request does not create an engagement.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for supervising the work, verifying facts and citations before use, providing timely access to the matter, and ensuring that any client information shared is shared lawfully. Deadlines you set remain your responsibility to confirm.

Confidentiality

Matter information is treated as confidential and as attorney work product. A written confidentiality agreement is executed before any matter file is accessed.

Invoices and payment

Invoices are issued through the client portal and state their own due date and payment terms. Online payment is available for issued invoices. Questions about an invoice should be raised through the availability form before the due date.

Independent contractor

Services are provided as an independent contractor. Nothing in an engagement creates an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship with your firm.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the business changes. The version in effect when an engagement begins governs that engagement.
